Installing OpenCV 2.0 on Mac.

¿ready for the game?, now the first step; installing OpenCV on OS-X (10.5), before we need macports and after this download the next dependencies:

• pkgconfig
• libjpeg
• libpng3
• libtiff
• gtk+2-dev
• glib2-dev
• pango1-xft2-dev
• atk1
• cmake

Type the next on your console: sudo port install <packages listed before>

Now go to the main site on sourceforge & download the OpenCV 2.0 version for Mac: http://sourceforge.net/projects/opencvlibrary/, now find your downloaded files,navigate through them & type:

./make_frameworks.sh

If everythign is ok now you have installed OpenCV 2.0, type the next command, this will help you to update your machine DB locating OpenCV:

sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb

Use the locate command, find OPenCV & have fun.
